Leslie, that's a good way to look at it:^) I'm still weirded out and slightly suspicious that there's a piece of my skull rolling around in there, lol. The swelling the other night filled my dent it, and I meant to get a photo of it that way to see what my head looks like when it's normally shaped. But dang it! I forgot! lol

My wife suggested that I try coffee in "moderation," but I don't think that can happen. I can't smoke because I can't do it in moderation -- I like it too much! :^)
I haven't had any coffee since an hour or two before that sweet kiss with the swing. There are some great teas availably these days, even at coffee shops, etc.
But we'll see how long this lasts. I've tried and failed half a dozen times just this summer, lol.

Ow ow ow ow. This might turn into something better than you think. Now that you have whacked the heck out of your noggin, in "the spot", maybe you will know now that it wont kill you to scratch your bug bites there, should they happen...oh, and they WILL happen...
love the way the title made me think...Amish swing music??

Dude! Duck!

Yea, the coffee's a huge contributor to hypertension. Had to quit it myself as part of keeping the b.p. under control (plus the meds). Coffee/caff. can impact your numbers by 20% or more. I've found some decent decaf around, and decaf espresso isn't awful (think decaf Americanos), especially when you double-shot it. Weaning off caffeine isn't easy, but I did it without too bad a headache by doing it slowly (over 2-3 weeks, slow reduction). Also Trader Joe's has the best decaf black tea around, and I've tried dozens trying to find a reasonable substitute. Life after coffee IS possible!
