Yeh, I'm in the same boat, missing the New York weather. Not to mention the week's vacation we got in February. On the bright side, every year without fail there's been at least one snow day during Presidents' Day week since I moved down. So that's something to look forward to.

Flowers are blooming already? Geez, I hope that doesn't happen here again this year. Last year, some plants got confused and started blooming in January and then died, and some blossoms in the spring were a little disappointing. Then April was cold at the beginning and kind of slowed things down and did a number to the flowers.

Climate change is crazy. It's gotten so I have to keep sweaters out in the summer and some sandals on hand in winter. :^)

Hey, Jenna! You know, we think romantically about moving back to Boston sometimes. We have the Boston Moleskine City Book (still in the wrapper) to remember everything we liked. We were in town briefly in fall 2006 for F's diss research, and we were amazed at how much changed. My favorite Chilis in the world (Harvard/Brattle) was gone! The double-F-ed Caffe' Paradiso was still there, though, which more than made up for it:) Who knows? I do love riding Amtrak... :)

Hey Johnny, I remember feeling the same way when I moved to Baltimore from Mass. The lack of foliage in the Fall and non-existance of the snow in winter was a very, very big bummer.

Just move back up here to Boston, already. You know you want to.
