Forget, for one second and only for one second, the dollar amount. Consider what our fear is about to give to the Leviathan:

“Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.”

Are we really too afraid to do anything?  I know, I know.  What have I done?  I know.  In a place where money is, literally, everything, we’re all too terrified to stop it.  Like we all want to get taken care of.

Like a lot of people over the past few days, my coworkers and I have been musing about this. Specifically whether a recession would be that bad. Might level the playing field of expectations.

I wish I could get a deal like that, don’t you?
A few bil, no questions asked…ever.

While the walnut shell and pea game goes on, with a bunch of razzle dazzle, the crux of the thing is this clause you highlighted.

Glad I’m not alone watching CSPAN, screaming at the TV.
