And I was just in time. I am looking forward to my commute Wednesday and beyond, with this nice weather coming. I’ve been feeling like a sucker (but not a “light weight“) for having the ACs in lately, but it’s not like you just put them in a box and are done with it.
What’s an AC?
Air Conditioning.
Of course. Which I realized about 10 minutes after I posted. The thing that threw me was 1) my mind was thinking “bicycle” and 2) it was said plural “ACs”. I was curious as to what cool gadget was used on a bike called an AC. Around here just about every house has AC built into the air system. So the thought of it coming out didn’t occur to me. Very naive country mouse here forgetting that in a bigger city that would make sense.
Thanks for not publicly flogging me on such an idiotic question. I can only imagine what you were thinking.
I wasn’t thinking anything ill; I assure you:)
I wish we had central air like when we lived in Southern IL. Blocking up our few apt windows here is such a commitment to make to give up fresh air for three months.
Man, a bike AC would be sweet! :)
Southern IN?!?! Dude that is my neck of the woods. Man I am so jealous. You get all the life experience and I’m a one dimensional redneck. :(
Thanks for the reply. I’ll go back to lurking on your polar-opposite yet vastly interesting life.
Where do you live in Southern IN? I was in Carbondale for three years.
Sometimes I really miss what the night sky looked like. We have so much light pollution in Baltimore, it’s hard to see stars. I’m going camping in the mountains in Western MD in three weeks, and seeing stars is definitely a highlight;)
