Johnny, I gotta put my Red hat on here for a minute. But don’t the rich already pay an exorbitant amount of taxes?
I always like it when people complain about how much money some of these big oil companies make (which I am not arguing for or against) but then I tell them that Exxon alone paid more in taxes than the bottom 1/3 of all TAXPAYERS (those with an actual net tax rate greater than 0%).

You’re right about the tax amounts, for sure. But as I understand it, they pay so much because they make so much, even if the brackets come into play.
