My friend Vivek, was run over , while riding is bike near the Univ of Missouri, Columbia's campus , about 2.5 years back. He was seriously injured, but the car driver's insurance co tried to argue that he was at fault, and they offered him a very small amount as a settlement. We got him a very experienced and aggressive lawyer, and the cops were forced to act, and Vivek ended up getting a very large settlement. And the senior citizen lady los t her driving privileges.
