>hirudoid

not sure if it's as silly in the US, but you should be aware that the package-included "pamphlett" & official advice re hirudoid in the UK is actually referring to its (rather feeble) predecessor. the advice is accurate for the predecessor. it's not accurate for hirudoid.

eek. just read all your crash posts.
as someone who used to do a LOT of high-impact sports, here's tips you might not have heard yet. if you have, please just discard them as well-intentioned offerings rather than preachings.

scars/bruises/joint-damage: Hirudoid. dirtcheap from any chemist. startlingly speeds healing. will tend to eliminate even long-term scars (foolishly i applied it vigorously when i was stabbed in the chest, and now have no cool scar). works even on "deep" joints like knees.

general healing: comfrey. old name: "knit bone". speeds healing rather startlingly. best as ointment -- long term use as tea strains and will eventually damage your liver.

light: seriously. specifically, 670nm frequency. for some reason, the body goes nuts under it and heals at insane speed. i first came across it via the motorbike version of formula 1: motogp. guys with completely snapped forearms and collarbones (and motogp puts INSANE g-forces on the arms/shoulders during braking) were safely, pain-free-ly, racing in 2-3 weeks. seriously. 2-3 weeks.

Wait a sec... are these pre-prenatal vitamins, or prenatal? Is there something I missed while I haven't been in the office??? Did you tell me something that I might have ignored due to caffeine-withdrawal or because I was distracted???

Or is this just Frankie trying to counteract your daily caffeine intake? ;)

I'm glad you got your new bike. I swear, until I get my leg sorted out, I ride vicariously through you. And that last bit? Nice cliff-hanger!
