As for my chili recipe, I can’t help you. I don’t think I’ve ever created something that is as universally hailed as my chili. So I have taken to guarding the recipe. It also evolves a little sometimes, with experimenting with different kinds and blends of fresh chili peppers.

Dude, I made Veggie chili this weekend too! Have you tried adding the Sweet Potatoes to the mix yet?
Not yet, but that sounds delicious! I was sorta getting back into Chili Season:) I’m very interested in getting some sweetness into my chili though. How many do you use if you don’t mind me asking? I’m definitely interested:)
For an average (8 quart) pot, I use between 1 and 3 depending on what else I’ve got in the mix (squash, different kinds of beans, sweet onions, bell peppers, etc). I cut them into cubes between 1 and 2 inches. They certainly impart a hint of sweetness, but I’ve found that the sweet potatoes actually take on more of the chili flavor than vice versa.
