My hands are cracking a lot this winter.

I’ll spare you the photos, not that I took any. It could be washing more dishes than usual or not wearing gloves. I generally don’t wear gloves unless I’m cycling, and I’ve been outside far more on foot than on pedals this winter. It could also be that I keep forgetting to drink water. Or the breakdown of my bass-guitar calluses, since I have not been playing my bass. Or a combination. Or I’m getting old.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering. Yes. This Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream does, in fact, taste like lemons, too. I ate some.

I have the same problem, but in a more severe form, a gift of chemotherapy:)
2 things i have done to improve skin dryness issues:
    (1) 1000 IU of Vitamin D daily
    (2) 1000 mg of Fish oil daily
    (3) 1000 IU of Vitamin E daily.

Iuse Curel for extra drk skin lotion when I cant have greasy hands. When I am at home, I use plain petroleum jelly and then I wear a pair of food service plastic gloves for a couple of hours till the jelly is fully absorbed. This regimen has helped my hands and other parts of my skin a lot.

My mom swears by gloves, too. She has diabetes, and we both have hands and feet that crack genetically to begin with.

I wonder if they have something like those food service grade plastic gloves for feet? Kinda like a very thin sock type of thing?
Hope Mama and Baby G are doing well.
