Writing supplies?

I should include a photo with this (and borrow Mrs. P’s camera).  But why, oh, why, are there retailers/shops that specialize in art supplies, but not writing supplies? Or, maybe there are, and they are for offices.  But I mean writing!  I realize that a lot of creative writing (especially professionally) has gone digital.  But, if I’m correct, so has professional “art.”

Blick Art Materials has writing supplies, not sure what your looking for but they all kinds of specialty pens, papers and journals. You should check it out at DickBlick.com
    under pens or writing.

I love me some Dick Blick (wish Baltimore had one!), but I was thinking of something like a mini Dick Blick for writers. :)

Back in the day we had stationery stores that seemed to focus on writing…lots of fancy pens, journals, fancy writing papers, etc. Don’t see that much anymore. Bob Slate’s in Cambridge comes closest in my memory.

Dammit, I miss Bob Slate! Frankie and I used to be hooked on their house-brand notebooks. :)
